Do we want to change?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

One more year is ending. Time for evaluation for many. We survived one more year<\/i> for others.<\/p>\n

Productivity, profitability, investment, disinvestment, school drop-out, unemployment, desperation\u2026 Do we want to change? <\/b>That\u2019s the question that I always ask myself\u2026<\/p>\n

\"BA<\/a><\/p>\n

Each time that I walk or pedal, with headphones that create the soundtrack for the movie of my mind \u2013 after all she is the one who tells us what is real and was is not-, <\/i>observing what\u2019s going on, how people relate, the faces, some in a bad mood, others with no interest, others\u2026 heartless, I think\u2026<\/p>\n

Does the average citizen want change? Does he know<\/b>\u2026that<\/i> he needs to change<\/i>?<\/p>\n

\"BA<\/a><\/p>\n

If we all knew<\/i> about the need for change that the Earth screams to us, probably all the citizens would change their habits. But the problem lies in the fact that few know\u2026Few are aware of how<\/i> their reality fits<\/i> in a much greater pre-molded reality. And the fact of not<\/b> changing that reality, but, in the contrary, maintaining that reality \u2013 of constant consumption<\/i> \u2013 goes against any story that Nature could tell us about. Because in Nature, therefore, in real life, everything changes<\/b>. \u201cLife is a series of differentiated transformations<\/i>\u201d B.K.S lyengar<\/b>, Hindu yogui master, suggests.<\/i><\/p>\n

And the need for change is a group scream, by the planet, by the native peoples from all around the world that we displaced\u2026 in the name of what??<\/i>… and a scream by all the mass of people that are unattended by the system, although \u201cunattended\u201d is a very subtle way of saying it\u2026<\/p>\n

\"BA<\/a><\/p>\n

These people are directly ignored<\/b> by the system, by the media, by our representatives\u2026They are ignored, knowing that, if they were listened by everyone, the scream of defense would be massive and hard to ignore, this is to say, the need for change would be obvious, which would occur rapidly if we had the necessary levels of awareness needed for it.<\/p>\n

Iyengar tells us that \u201cawareness hurts. And that is because it lies in the heart of the paradox of what being a spiritual being means<\/b>, that lives in a physical body, in a material world. Conscience tells us to do what\u2019s most difficult, because it\u2019s always pushing us towards Unity, towards Totality. Our wishes, our selfishness, our intellectual defects always pull us towards the world of diversity, where we calculate the results of things, we confuse everything and we try to choose what is less bad. The conscious, when it is impeccable, is the voice of our soul, whispering in our ear. \u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

And we are not being able to accomplish it. We still aren\u2019t elevating those levels of environmental awareness in such a way that they can trigger all the social processes that should occur to change the economy in representation of the health of the ecosystems of our planet. So, the question is, why don\u2019t we elevate those levels? What is stopping us? <\/b>What are we distracted with? What is blinding us?<\/i><\/p>\n

In this case, the same system blinds us\u2026 as it alienates us from our lives, takes away our objectives from us, and assigns us a simple repetitive chore that leads us to nowhere and that doesn\u2019t satisfy us at all. We lose time, our time, and a whole life.<\/p>\n\r\n
