Le tom\u00f3 225 a\u00f1os a los humanos entender la interconectividad del todo.<\/p>\n

Desde el nacimiento de Alexander Von Humboldt en 1769<\/p>\n

hasta la desaparici\u00f3n de Jacobo Grinberg en 1994\u2026<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Para aquellos que no conozcan acerca de la inspiradora vida de Humboldt<\/p>\n

recomiendo fuertemente leer el libro de Andrea Wulf:<\/p>\n

\u201cLa Invenci\u00f3n de la Naturaleza.<\/em><\/p>\n

Las Aventuras de Alexander Von Humboldt<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n

El H\u00e9roe Perdido de la Ciencia\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lo que hoy parece obvio, en alg\u00fan momento no lo fue.<\/p>\n

Hoy, sabemos que la Naturaleza es un Todo interconectado,<\/p>\n

pero \u00e9l fue el primero en sugerirlo…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Parado de frente al Chimborazo,\u00a0 contemplando su altura,<\/p>\n

comenz\u00f3 a atar cabos entre la distribuci\u00f3n de las plantas<\/p>\n

y las variables clim\u00e1ticas presentes a diferentes alturas.<\/p>\n

Compar\u00f3 esas distribuciones con monta\u00f1as de todo el mundo<\/p>\n

y empez\u00f3 a tejer su visi\u00f3n del mundo natural.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

El tipo las hizo todas, e influenci\u00f3 a generaciones a\u00fan por venir.<\/p>\n

Todas las especies de la naturaleza estaban conectadas de alguna manera.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ya estando viejo, dej\u00f3 como legado para nosotros, su libro de varios vol\u00famenes: \u201cKosmos\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Quiz\u00e1s por eso Carl Sagan<\/strong> escribi\u00f3 \u201cCosmos\u201d<\/em> a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ahora bien, s\u00edganme en este viaje en el tiempo.<\/p>\n

Humboldt se pas\u00f3 una buena cantidad de a\u00f1os<\/p>\n

escribiendo \u201cKosmos\u201d<\/em>,<\/p>\n

compilando todo el saber.<\/p>\n

Finalmente, ve la luz en 1845.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1845 fue tambi\u00e9n el a\u00f1o en el que Henry David Thoreau<\/strong><\/p>\n

se construy\u00f3 una peque\u00f1a casita en el bosque que circunda<\/p>\n

la laguna de Walden en Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

Estuvo 2 a\u00f1os, 2 meses y 2 d\u00edas<\/p>\n

viviendo en la naturaleza, tomando nota de ella.<\/p>\n

Retorn\u00f3 a la sociedad en 1847 y estuvo<\/p>\n

7 a\u00f1os hasta publicar su librazo \u201cWalden\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

donde transform\u00f3 su vivir en poes\u00eda.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Pero no le fue f\u00e1cil… Al parecer, estuvo dos a\u00f1os bloqueado<\/p>\n

y no fue hasta 1849 que pudo ponerse a escribir su vivencia…<\/p>\n

porque fue ese a\u00f1o el a\u00f1o en que empez\u00f3 a publicarse \u201cKosmos\u201d<\/em> en ingl\u00e9s…<\/p>\n

Humboldt lo empuja, desde la inspiraci\u00f3n, a escribir \u201cWalden\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Y hubo otra persona muy especial a quien tambi\u00e9n inspir\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Su nombre fue Charles Darwin<\/strong>,<\/p>\n

qui\u00e9n estuvo 20 a\u00f1os d\u00e1ndole vueltas a sus asuntos,<\/p>\n

de 1839 a 1859, hasta publicar su \u201cOrigen de las Especies\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Fue Humboldt, otra vez, qui\u00e9n abri\u00f3 las puertas de la percepci\u00f3n natural<\/p>\n

para que Darwin pudiese desarrollar su teor\u00eda de la evoluci\u00f3n<\/p>\n

de las especies biol\u00f3gicas de nuestro planeta.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cKosmos\u201d estuvo al lado de sus notas a partir de 1845.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Otro que estuvo un tiempazo escribiendo, fue George Perkins Marsh<\/strong>;<\/p>\n

\u00e9l toma las advertencias que Humboldt se\u00f1alaba<\/p>\n

acerca de la deforestaci\u00f3n perpetrada por el hombre<\/p>\n

y les encuentra evidencias en el mundo entero.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

En 1864 se publica \u201cEl Hombre y La Naturaleza\u201d<\/em>,<\/p>\n

un libro que cambi\u00f3 el juego, al hacer llegar<\/p>\n

al mundo de la econom\u00eda y la pol\u00edtica,<\/p>\n

el mensaje de que no pod\u00edamos seguir as\u00ed…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Iba a llamarse \u201cEl Hombre Disturbador de las Armon\u00edas de la Naturaleza\u201d…<\/em><\/p>\n

Pero no lo dejaron\u2026<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Humboldt<\/strong> devela que la Naturaleza es Una.<\/p>\n

Darwin<\/strong> saca a El Uno de la ecuaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Y Marsh<\/strong> lo pone a uno como interventor de la naturaleza.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Humboldt era amigo de Goethe<\/strong>, y desde sus primeros d\u00edas<\/p>\n

como escritor de la naturaleza<\/em> entendi\u00f3 que<\/p>\n

el arte era una v\u00eda para poder transmitir<\/p>\n

lo complejo que supon\u00eda entender el mundo natural.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Esa importancia art\u00edstica es tomada por Ernst Haeckel<\/strong>,<\/p>\n

quien, con sus bell\u00edsimos dibujos, atrajo al mundo natural a gente de todos los rubros,<\/p>\n

desde de m\u00fasicos y artistas a arquitectos y dise\u00f1adores.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00a1Tan s\u00f3lo googleen<\/em> los dibujos que hac\u00eda de medusas y radiolarios!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Cuando Marsch publica su libro en 1864,<\/p>\n

Haeckel pierde a Anne, su esposa, de apendicitis<\/p>\n

cayendo en una depresi\u00f3n qu\u00e9 lo hizo volcarse al estudio<\/p>\n

y a la b\u00fasqueda de evidencias que respalden la teor\u00eda de Darwin.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Y lo logra, publicando \u201cMorfolog\u00eda General de los Organismos\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

dos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, en 1866…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Fue Haeckel uno de los pioneros en acu\u00f1ar el t\u00e9rmino \u201cEcolog\u00eda\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

& fue Haeckel qui\u00e9n sac\u00f3 el foco del mundo cient\u00edfico<\/p>\n

y lo corri\u00f3 hacia otras profesiones hacia la entrada de un nuevo siglo<\/p>\n

cuando publica \u201cFormas Art\u00edsticas en la Naturaleza\u201d<\/em> en 1900.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Un a\u00f1o antes de que Darwin comience con su libro, en 1838,<\/p>\n

nace John Muir<\/strong>, otro apasionado por la naturaleza.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Si Marsh<\/strong> escribi\u00f3 ese \u00fanico y gran libro<\/p>\n

donde se expon\u00eda que no pod\u00edamos seguir produciendo y gobernando as\u00ed,<\/p>\n

pues Muir<\/strong> a lo largo de su vida public\u00f3 una docena de libros,<\/p>\n

al igual que escribi\u00f3 unos 300 art\u00edculos para el ciudadano de a pie,<\/p>\n

para la gente en general, para que puedan<\/p>\n

enamorarse y maravillarse con la naturaleza.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

& \u00a1Muir se los ley\u00f3 antes a todos!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

& fue gracias a \u00e9l, que toda esta data le lleg\u00f3 a las masas,<\/p>\n

haciendo p\u00fablico que el medio ambiente estaba siendo irreversiblemente transformado…<\/p>\n

& fue John Muir<\/strong> qui\u00e9n logr\u00f3 disuadir con charlas profundas a los bur\u00f3cratas adecuados<\/p>\n

para lograr la creaci\u00f3n de los primeros parques nacionales a los fines de intentar<\/p>\n

revertir lo que a comienzos del siglo pasado parec\u00eda irreversible.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Y, \u00bfc\u00f3mo estamos ahora?<\/p>\n

Para cuando Humboldt muri\u00f3, en 1859, los primeros tel\u00e9grafos<\/p>\n

que un\u00edan a Europa con el nuevo mundo reci\u00e9n se comenzaban a usar\u2026<\/p>\n

\u00a1C\u00f3mo cambiaron las comunicaciones desde entonces!<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Humboldt escrib\u00eda cartas a sus amigos.<\/p>\n

No lo veo escribi\u00e9ndole a Aim\u00e9 Bonpland<\/strong> por WhatsApp.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

El punto es que durante esos tiempos<\/p>\n

supimos entender a la naturaleza y nuestro lugar en ella;<\/p>\n

pero gan\u00f3 su explotaci\u00f3n y transformaci\u00f3n<\/p>\n

en productos de consumo para una sola especie,<\/p>\n

en vez de cuidarla como parte de nosotros<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Nada cambi\u00f3, todo empeor\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Se silenci\u00f3 a los grandes.<\/p>\n

Se estupidiz\u00f3 a la poblaci\u00f3n para que vivamos en un trance.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo lo lograron?<\/p>\n

Con este interrogante llegamos al final de este raconto.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Si Humboldt fue el primero en sugerir<\/p>\n

(desde y para la Ciencia)<\/em> que la Naturaleza era un todo interconectado<\/p>\n

y que todas las especies estaban interrelacionadas entre s\u00ed…<\/p>\n

entonces fue Jacobo Grinberg<\/strong> uno de los primeros en decir<\/p>\n

(desde y para la Ciencia)<\/em> que los seres humanos est\u00e1bamos todos relacionados<\/p>\n

e unidos entre s\u00ed por una especie de campo energ\u00e9tico cerebral.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jacobo Grinberg desapareci\u00f3 (o fue desaparecido) en 1994<\/u>.<\/p>\n

No se supo nada m\u00e1s de \u00e9l.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Justo cuando parec\u00eda que todos \u00edbamos a tener los poderes<\/p>\n

del profesor Charles Xavier de X-Men, el tipo Grinberg desaparece.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Pero no termina ah\u00ed.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lo \u00faltimo que puedo recordarles es que en el a\u00f1o 2017,<\/p>\n

la CIA desclasific\u00f3 una tonelada de documentos clasificados.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

De esos documentos, rescato dos:<\/p>\n

Uno, el Proyecto “Gateway”<\/em>, de 1983, d\u00f3nde ya se daba a entender que el gobierno estaba al tanto de la importancia de la geometr\u00eda toroidal para el entendimiento del universo, escrito por Wayne M. McDonnell.<\/p>\n

Y otro me intrig\u00f3 a\u00fan m\u00e1s por su fecha y autor\u00eda llamado “La Teor\u00eda Sint\u00e9rgica”<\/em>, escrito (desde y para la CIA)<\/em> por Jacobo Grinberg<\/strong> en 2001<\/u>.<\/p>\n

For those who do not know about Humboldt’s inspiring life,<\/p>\n

I recommend to read Andrea Wulf’s book:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Invention of Nature.<\/em><\/p>\n

The adventures Alexander Von Humboldt<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Lost Hero of science.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

What today seems obvious, was not so in those days.<\/p>\n

Today we know that Nature is an interconnected whole<\/p>\n

but he was the first in suggesting it…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Standing in front of the Chimborazo, contemplating its height,<\/p>\n

he started joining the dots between the distribution of plants<\/p>\n

and the climatic variables present in different altitudes.<\/p>\n

He compared those distributions with mountains from around the world<\/p>\n

and began to weave his vision of the natural world.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The guy did everything, and influenced generations yet to come.<\/p>\n

All species of nature were connected somehow.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Already being old, he left as legacy for us, his book of several volumes, “Kosmos”…<\/em><\/p>\n

Maybe that’s why Carl Sagan<\/strong> wrote \u201cCosmos\u201d<\/em> years afterwards.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Well, now, follow me in this time travel.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Humboldt spent a good share of years writing “Kosmos”<\/em>,<\/p>\n

compiling all the wisdom.<\/p>\n

It finally sees the light in 1845.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1845 was also the year in which Henry David Thoreau<\/strong> built for himself<\/p>\n

a small cabin in the woods that surround Walden Pond in the United States.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He spent 2 years, 2 months and 2 days living in nature, taking down notes about her.<\/p>\n

He returned to society in 1847 & 7 years had to pass until publishing<\/p>\n

his great book “Walden”<\/em>,<\/p>\n

where he transformed his living in poetry.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But it was not easy for him\u2026<\/p>\n

It seems that he was blocked for two years.<\/p>\n

And it was not until 1849 that he could sit and write his experience\u2026<\/p>\n

because it was that year the year in which \u201cKosmos\u201d<\/em> began to be published in English\u2026<\/p>\n

Humboldt pushes him, from thy inspiration, to write \u201cWalden\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

& there was another very special person who he also inspired.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

His name was Charles Darwin<\/strong>, who spent 20 years encircling his matters,<\/p>\n

from 1839 to 1859, until he published his \u201cOrigin of Species\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It was Humboldt again who opened the doors of natural perception<\/p>\n

for Darwin to be able to develop his Theory of Evolution<\/p>\n

of the biological species of our planet.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cKosmos\u201d<\/em> was right next to his notes since 1845.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Another one who spent a good time writing was George Perkins Marsh<\/strong>;<\/p>\n

he took the warnings that Humboldt pointed out about deforestation<\/p>\n

perpetrated by man, and found evidences about them all over the world.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In 1864, “Man & Nature”<\/em> was published, a book that was a game changer,<\/p>\n

by making the message arrive to the world of economics and politics<\/p>\n

that we could not continue like this.<\/em>..<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It was going to be called “Man the Disturber of Nature’s Harmonies”<\/em>,<\/p>\n

but he was not allowed to do so.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Humboldt<\/strong> reveals that Nature is One…<\/p>\n

Darwin<\/strong> takes out The One from the equation.<\/p>\n

& Marsh<\/strong> puts one as a modifier of Nature.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Humboldt was a friend of Goethe<\/strong>,<\/p>\n

and since his first days as nature writer<\/p>\n

he understood\u00a0 that Art was a way to convey<\/p>\n

the complexity entailed in understanding the natural world.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

That artistic importance is taken by Ernst Haeckel<\/strong>, who, with he’s beautiful drawings,<\/p>\n

draws<\/em> people from different walks of life near<\/em> the natural world,<\/p>\n

from musicians and artists to architects and designers.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Just google<\/em> the drawings he made of jellyfish and radiolarians!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When Marsh publishes his book in 1864,<\/p>\n

Haeckel loses his wife, Anne, to appendicitis…<\/p>\n

falling into a depression that made him throw himself into his studies<\/p>\n

and the search for evidences to back up Darwin’s Theory.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And he achieves it, publishing “General Morphology of Organisms”<\/em><\/p>\n

two years later,<\/p>\n

in 1866\u2026<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It was Haeckel one of the pioneers in coining the term “Ecology”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

& it was Haeckel who removed the focus from the scientific world<\/p>\n

and moved it towards other professions in the entry of a new century<\/p>\n

when he publishes “Art Forms in Nature”<\/em> in 1900.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A year before Darwin began with his book, in 1838, John Muir<\/strong> is born,<\/p>\n

another passionate about nature.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If Marsh wrote that unique and great book<\/p>\n

where he exposed that we could not keep on producing and governing this way,<\/p>\n

then Muir all along his life published a dozen books,<\/p>\n

as well as wrote around 300 articles<\/p>\n

for the common citizen, for people in general,<\/p>\n

for them to be able to fall in love and awe with Nature.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

& before doing so, Muir read them all!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

& it was thanks to him, that all this data got to the masses,<\/p>\n

making public that the environment was being irreversibly transformed.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

& it was John Muir who managed to dissuade the right bureaucrats with deep talks to achieve the creation of the first national parks with the purpose off trying to revert what already seemed irreversible at the beginning of the last century.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And how are we doing nowadays?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When Humboldt died in 1859, the first telegraphs that united Europe<\/p>\n

with the new world were just beginning to be used.<\/p>\n

How much did communications change since then!<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Humboldt wrote letters to his friends.<\/p>\n

I cannot imagine him writing to Aim\u00e9 Bonpland<\/strong> through WhatsApp.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The point is that during those times<\/p>\n

we knew how to understand nature and our place within her;<\/p>\n

but what won was her exploitation and transformation in consumption products<\/p>\n

for only one species, instead of taking care of her as a part of ourselves.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Nothing changed, everything got worse.<\/p>\n

The Great were silenced.<\/p>\n

The population was stupidized so that we live in a trance.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

How did they achieve it?<\/p>\n

With this conundrum we arrive to the end of this story.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If Humboldt was the first to suggest<\/p>\n

(from and for Science)<\/em> that nature was 1-All-interconnected thing<\/p>\n

and that all the species were interrelated among one another…<\/p>\n

then it was Jacobo Grinberg<\/strong> one of the first in suggesting<\/p>\n

(from and for Science)<\/em> that the human beings were all related<\/p>\n

and united with each other buy a kind of cerebral energy field.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jacobo Grinberg disappeared (or was disappeared) in 1994<\/u>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Nothing more was known about him.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Just when it seemed that we were all going to have the powers<\/p>\n

of professor Charles Xavier from the X-Men, the guy Grinberg disappears.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But it does not end there.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The last thing I can remind you about is that in the year 2017, the CIA declassified tons of documents.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From those documents, I highlight two:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

One, is Project “Gateway”<\/em>, from 1983, where one can see that the government already knew about the importance of toroidal geometries for the understanding of the universe, written by Wayne M. McDonnell.<\/p>\n
