{"id":835,"date":"2011-09-26T00:03:39","date_gmt":"2011-09-26T03:03:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ploff.net\/?p=835"},"modified":"2011-09-26T00:03:39","modified_gmt":"2011-09-26T03:03:39","slug":"boletin-consciente-n-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ploff.net\/en\/boletin-consciente-n-20\/","title":{"rendered":"Bolet\u00edn Consciente N\u00b0 20"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Good week to all of you!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Having spoken about education through teaching the young, we come back in this newsletter with a new <em>educational method<\/em> that can be applied to enhance the learning of students in any educational level.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Majo Sosa left us a good contribution in a post at the bottom of last week\u2019s newsletter through a link that presents a very interesting educational model. This model or method is already followed by courses and careers which are lectured as \u201c<em>correspondence courses<\/em>\u201d through internet. In these, <strong>the theory is studied individually<\/strong>, and then, the class is centered in applying the contents learnt through a practical manner. The traditional method centers the professor dictating the theory class, being this usually categorical and locked up in the unique vision of the professor, and then leaves homework in order to apply new concepts in a practical manner at home. When something goes wrong at home, the student gets frustrated and leaves the homework aside; and in the next class, he can no longer follow the theory, because he is carrying doubts from before. The method proposed is called \u201c<a title=\"flipped classroom model\" href=\"http:\/\/www.knewton.com\/flipped-classroom\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Flipped Classroom Model<\/strong><\/a>\u201d and minimizes this risk by giving more time for the professor to solve doubts and explain difficult concepts in class, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">after<\/span> the students have made incursions into the theory individually.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_831\" style=\"width: 516px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ploff.net\/beta\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/pups-9.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-831\" class=\"size-full wp-image-831\" title=\"pups 9\" src=\"https:\/\/ploff.net\/beta\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/pups-9.jpg\" alt=\"The doubts come from home\" width=\"506\" height=\"302\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ploff.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/pups-9.jpg 506w, https:\/\/ploff.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/pups-9-300x179.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 506px) 100vw, 506px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-831\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The doubts come from home<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thus, this study model favors personal growth and allows information to flow freely.\u00a0 The last word is no longer from one authoritarian image, empowering the creation of debates and the proliferation of good ideas. It is very important that the changes required by society are made by us\u2026 our generation does not need to answer to any system,\u00a0 <em>good will<\/em> must prevail over all profit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<em>We are in one of those boring moments in history in which no one has a good idea over what to expect from the future, and so we spend our time fearing it.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>(\u2026) I insist: I do not believe this will last long, because we do not know how to live under these conditions. And I am convinced that in some places, in very varied situations, a lot of people imagine, or live, or search for, or discover new ways of thinking the future, of getting excited about the potential changes \u2013 which are seemingly impossible yet.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>(\u2026) I wonder if there will be countries at all, the countries we know, as we know them, for much longer.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Not because of climate change, but because of the changes that are really changing the world \u2013and which the scientists do not know how to measure, fortunately or unfortunately.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Contra el Cambio<\/span> (<em>Against Change<\/em>) \u2013 <strong>Mart\u00edn Caparr\u00f3s<\/strong>.<br \/>\nEd. Cr\u00f3nicas Anagrama, 2010. Pages. 254\/5.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And they are very subtle changes, but these spoil the system little by little. In an article, named \u201c<a title=\"solar\" href=\"http:\/\/www.good.is\/post\/the-hidden-reasons-solar-prices-are-dropping\/?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+good%2Flbvp+%28GOOD+Main+RSS+Feed%29\" target=\"_blank\">The Hidden Reasons Solar Prices Are Dropping<\/a>\u201d, it says that, although the costs of the materials for the solar panels are being minimized, from 2009 to 2010 the 18% of the cost of the non-technical parts of the solar installation system has been reduced, and in this last year it has been reduced on 40%! This is due to the fact that labor makes up a huge slice of installation costs. And in the past few years, government incentives for renewable energy projects have driven solar booms, activating a snowball effect in which more jobs are being created. This occurs when governments start to see the opportunities for development in the long term that comes along when inserting renewables in the energetic matrix of the country.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_834\" style=\"width: 517px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ploff.net\/beta\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/pups-5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-834\" class=\"size-full wp-image-834\" title=\"pups 5\" src=\"https:\/\/ploff.net\/beta\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/pups-5.jpg\" alt=\"New jobs through a new vision\" width=\"507\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ploff.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/pups-5.jpg 507w, https:\/\/ploff.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/pups-5-300x177.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 507px) 100vw, 507px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-834\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">New jobs through a new vision<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>Again, all this emerges from the need for change that is germinating in the world.
