Good Vibes!
This New Year keeps on gaining speed. And the idea still is to renew ourselves.
Experiences that motivate people, the masses… Think about it… sometimes, an experience, a motivating story, a moment, can be more useful for the life of a person than hundreds of hours studying. Those who manage to learn and mature and take the positive side from every experience they need to surpass are people who end up throwing themselves to wherever their hearts tell them to. As my brother says, there are dreamers, and doers. But how can we learn from those who do? Bilinkis sets up some ideas to learn to take on new ventures in your life, starting by assisting to conferences and events.
A friend of mine, Santiago –future Industrial Engineer-, recommended me this TV series called 26 people to save the world, where each episode tells the story of a person who has managed to create a positive impact in his surroundings, both social and environmentally. Whenever you lack inspiration, see one of these episodes in order to activate.
Another friend of mine, Diego –future Civil Engineer-, sent me a pdf document which shows 8 steps towards a sustainable construction. It is well written and the design of it invites you to read it. It is a quick way to conceptualize sustainable processes.
The human potential is inexhaustible. But sometimes is hard to calm down and find ways to guide you in life. I once read an Anthony Robbins book where he proposes to write how to feel and recognize the values they you have towards life, in order to act with coherence and integrity. I remember working one summer with a loudspeaker explaining over and over again the life of a dinosaur for a lot of kids in an expo, and in one of my breaks, I grabbed pencil and paper and began making a list… and from it, the auto-reflexive premises came out, which are just an example. Each one of us can make their own list and remember during the day their own lines and act accordingly.
“Just relax, flow and, in consequence, you will center yourself. (…)
Accept everything. Accept and welcome everything that happens. There is nothing wrong, nothing can be wrong, and that should be the basic attitude. Everything is sacred, also to get lost sometimes. Simply flote, and the capacity of being centered will emerge by its own. Do not make any effort. There is no need to make any effort at all, the only thing needed is no-effort.
Everything is going well. (…)
Life is a miracle because it has no reason to be. It is a miracle that you exist, just because there is any type of reason for you not to exist.
You only grow up when you accept this. It is not only to accept it, but to start to enjoy it. Life is insecure, that means that life is free. (…)
But tomorrow is wonderful because it means total freedom. No one knows what will happen; if you will be breathing, not even if you will be alive, no one knows. So it has its beauty, because everything means a chaos, a challenge, and everything exists as a potential.
Do not look for consolation. If you keep on looking for it, you will keep on being insecure. It is not a paradox, it is a simple truth; paradoxical, but absolutely true. Until know, you have existed so why bother for tomorrow? If you can exist today, if you could exist yesterday, tomorrow will mind itself alone.
Don’t think about tomorrow and be free.
By the mere fact of understanding this instantly, you will feel comfortable, but that comfort does not come from security, that comfort, comes not from death, nor from the grave. That comfort carries a great chaos, but that does not stop it from being comfortable because as you are no longer looking for more things, you are not tense. That is what mankind should be: a serene chaos. When you carry a revolution inside yourself, each moment provides you a new world, a new life… each moment becomes a new birth.” – Osho (the bold type is mine)
Ploff my friends – it is NOT environmentalism, it is changing the world.
